  • You will be working alongside students and staff of the CEDIS to improve their output of research and publications.

About the Partner Organisation

The Centre for Development and International Studies (CEDIS) based in Yogyakarta Indonesia, is a research institution under the International Relations Department, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). The centre aims for international relations students to develop a theoretical understanding of international relations, and the ability at a practical level, to actualise peace and justice.

A volunteer will be valuable in supporting the development of research and publications to achieve the centres’ goal of becoming a research excellence university. All lecturers at the university have been asked to increase their research output through publications of journal articles and patents. In order for this to happen, assistance is needed with English and the academic activities around completing publications.
