Academic Writing Mentorship

Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) - Organisasi Riset Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Humaniora (OR IPSH) is looking for an Academic Writing Mentor who can volunteer remotely from home for six months. 

• This assignment seeks to review and comment articles on book chapter, and evaluate journal drafts, articles or book chapters
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need an extensive experience in book, journal and or articles writing
• You will be working alongside a team at BRIN as well as the book, journal or article authors.  

About the Partner Organisation 

Research Center for Area Studies is a division of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities (IPSH), National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The task is to conduct interdisciplinary research to learn about countries and societies with historical and contemporary connections with Indonesia. The scopes of research include a) comparative studies, focusing on the comparison between foreign countries and Indonesia; b) transnational network, focusing on networks of people, ideas, and goods/commodities; c) strategic analysis of Indonesian economic, cultural, and political role on the global level. The primary research topics in past years have been: critical spice routes; digital heritage; African connections; gastro diplomacy; science, technology and society; and environmental humanities.
