Agriculture Specialist

Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is looking for an Agriculture Specialist who can live and volunteer for six months in Kupang, Indonesia.

• This assignment seeks to provide agriculture expert's technical advice, guidance, and hands-on support to enhance agricultural production, processing, and management. This role aims to strengthen local farming systems by introducing improved techniques, fostering sustainable practices, and addressing key agricultural challenges.  
• As a volunteer, you will work closely with local farmers, agricultural staff, and relevant stakeholders, offering practical solutions and capacity-building initiatives that promote efficient resource use, increased productivity, and long-term sustainability.
• Together with local staff, the volunteer will collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community groups to align efforts with local and national agricultural policies.

About the Organisation 

Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is located in Kupang, West Timor - Indonesia. The organisation's main projects are in child health, community health, education, agriculture and empowerment of people with disabilities. JPM is implementing projects in Kupang, Timur Tengah Selatan and Timur Tengah Utara districts.
