We’re looking for a Business Development - Strategic Planning Specialist who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 18 months.
- This assignment seeks to support sector lead and organization partners in delivering the training on fundraising and proposal writing
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need experience working within the INGO sector in Timor-Leste or other developing countries
- You will be working alongside the Management Team
About the Partner Organisation
ChildFund Timor-Leste, based in Dili is the representative office of ChildFund Australia, an independent international development organisation that works to reduce poverty for children in developing communities.
ChildFund Timor-Leste focus area includes maternal and child health, adolescent sexual Reproductive Health, nutrition, early childhood development, school readiness, youth empowerment and protection, and child rights. ChildFund Timor-Leste aims to demonstrate effectiveness and accountability in its program activities and add value to the efforts of its partners through quality programs that are respectful, responsive, and relevant in helping children in poverty, their families, and communities.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$3245 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$79 ( Part time) per month.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
