We’re looking for a Clinical Coder and Auditor Advisorwho can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.


  • This assignment seeks to enhance themedical records coding capacity of Clinical Coding staff in Fiji Ministry of Health and Medical Services
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need minimum of five years experience with oding using ICD-10AM/ACHI/ACS
  • Provide support in empowering the local Clinical Coders

About the Partner Organisation 

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MOH) is a government ministry of Fiji responsible for overseeing Fiji's Healthcare system. The Ministry is tasked to provide quality healthcare to the people of Fiji. It does this through its 3 main Divisional Hospitals, 21 Sub-divisional Hospitals and over 100 Health Centres and Nursing Stations in which are operated by divisional and sub-divisional departments of the Ministry of Health. The Ministry is also tasked in enacting public health policies and overseeing the implementation of public health programmes.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
