We’re looking for a Compliance Officer who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Tonga.

  • As a volunteer, you will support the college to ensure long-term sustainability and excellence in their international program. 
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need experience working with a Non-Profit Organization, school or TAFE in the curriculum and compliance areas. A minimum of 5 years is required.
  • You will be working alongside the TCTI leadership team to review and ensure that all relevant governance, risk management and compliance requirements are addressed.

At Tupou College, based in Nuku'alofa, they are committed to nurturing young Tongan men who are prepared to excel in every dimension of life. Their mission transcends traditional education, focusing on holistic development that shapes well-rounded individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to their community and society.

The College International Stream follows the New South Wales Educational Standards Authority (NESA) to deliver the Higher School Certificate (HSC). The volunteer would support the team to review compliance to ensure the college remains in line with NESA's rigorous strandards.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include attaining a First Aid Certificate.
