We’re looking for an Educational Planner who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 12 months.
- This assignment seeks to review the municipality's education plan and assist in understanding budget planning and developing effective education strategies.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.
- As a volunteer, you will support teachers in planning and accessing resources for professional development, including teaching methods, material design, and lesson planning.
About the Partner Organisation
Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan City, established in 1976, is located in the Kailali District of Sudur Paschim Province. Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan City has 68 community schools serving about 25,000 students. The “Community School Educational Quality Improvement Program” aims to improve education quality through practical and effective education plans. The municipality is committed to improving education in public schools by providing teacher training and developing various plans, such as the Municipal Education Plan, School Improvement Plan, and Teacher Training Plan. The focus is also on improving school management, teaching quality, and strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems. To transform the education system, the municipality is seeking an experienced Australian volunteer , Education Planner to help improve the system, introduce innovative teaching methods, and transfer education planning skills.

We cover your flights, insurance, and provide a living and accommodation allowance. Learn more here
There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$1630 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$79 per month.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens.
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
- Additional requirements include Frist Aid Certificate.
