English Language Teacher

We’re looking for an English Teacher who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 4 months. 

• This assignment seeks to improve English language proficiency of rural teachers.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need degree in education or related teaching experience  
• You will be Conducting weekly English language sessions through remote assignment to improve speaking and listening skills 
• As a volunteer, you will support the local teachers to improve their teaching methods through in-person workshop

About the Partner Organisation 

The Department of Education and Science has 26 full -time officials. It enforces the educational law and implements educational policies and resolutions approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. The department is responsible for management of 29 secondary schools , 41 kindergartens. The officials at the department are responsible to provide training opportunities to improve local teachers' teaching methodologies & skills and develop professional development resources. Uliastai soum is the center of the Zavkhan province where 5 secondary schools, 9 kindergartens, the Polytechnic college, the Musical college and Zavkhan School of National University of Mongolia are located.
