Yayasan Cipta Mandiri (YCM) is looking for an English Program Development Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Bogor (Outskirt of Jakarta), Indonesia.
- This assignment seeks to provide support for tutors and peer sharers in expanding their English language skills and knowledge. This initiative aims to help them build confidence and fluency in both spoken and written English. The assistance would focus on improving their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension, as well as enhancing their ability to use English effectively in teaching and everyday interactions.
- To be considered for this role, you need a degree and/or certificate and experience that reflects your expertise in teaching English for a non-native speakers who acquire to be an English Teacher or Mentor at their home country. In this case: Indonesia.
- You will be working alongside local staff who is responsible in developing English Program, business unit, and administration. As a volunteer, you will support capacity building of the local staff and should be able to participate in meetings, planning, consulting, and other English Program related projects during the assignment period.

Yayasan Cipta Mandiri (YCM) is a dynamic non-profit NGO which works to empower disadvantaged young people in Bogor, Indonesia, in order to have better lives and give positive impact to the communities. YCM has been providing free motivational alternative education programs to young people whose families often struggle to meet basic needs. YCM's focus works are motivating the youths of YCM’s member to have good and tough characters and equip them with qualified hard skills to make positive sustainable changes in their lives and others. Facilitating free of charge alternative education practical programs for the youths of YCM.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements include a First Aid certificate.
