We’re looking for a Human Resource Mentor who can live and volunteer for 8 months in Cambodia
- This assignment seeks to provide strategic HR guidance, support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, assist in recruitment and onboarding, enhance employee relations and engagement, contribute to training and development initiatives, and manage HR administrative tasks to ensure a compliant and effective HR function.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- As a volunteer, you will support Organizational Development such as designing and implementing training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees and in succession planning and talent management.
About the Partner Organisation
PEPY Empowering Youth is a local non-profit and NGO providing personal and professional development training to rural youth in Siem Reap, Cambodia. We are a team led by local Cambodians dedicated to helping individuals identify their dreams and find pathways to success. Starting at the high school level, our interwoven programs provide holistic support for young people to have the tools, network, and resources to succeed in school and thrive in the professional setting of their choice. Human Resource Mentor role is to provide strategic HR guidance, support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, assist in recruitment and onboarding, enhance employee relations and engagement, contribute to training and development initiatives, and manage HR administrative tasks to ensure a compliant and effective HR function.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
