Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is looking for an Information and Communication Technology Mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role in-country for 3 months and remotely (online) for 3 months.


  • This assignment seeks to review if the current Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems are aligned with the organisation's operational requirements and how the ICT systems could enhance the efficiency and effectiveness during day-to-day operation.
  • The volunteer will guide the local staff to implement a comprehensive ICT policies and procedures which will make all data secured, easily accessible, and reliable for staff and stakeholders.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor degree in information technology or computer science or related field.

About the Partner Organisation 

JPM is a local NGO based in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Established on September 16, 2019, following the closure of Action Contre la Faim (ACF) operation in Indonesia. Many of JPM's key staff are former ACF employees with extensive experience in various international NGOs. The organisation focuses on several key projects, including child health, community health, education, agriculture, and the empowerment of people with disabilities. JPM implements its initiative in Kupang's Timur Tengah Selatan and Timur Tengah Utara districts.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 1111 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
