We’re looking for an Internal Policy Development Officer  who can  volunteer remotely from home for 6 months.


  • This assignment seeks to To review existing and develop new internal policies of Live & Learn Cambodia.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a comprehensive knowledge in executive, oprational management and safeguarding requirements of NGOs
  • As a volunteer, you will support in Analyzing and mapping out existing internal policies and compliances against national and international compliances, particularly DFAT and EU policies requirements.  

About the Partner Organisation 

Tackling development challenges, LLC's vision is to achieve a sustainable and equitable Cambodia free from poverty through empowerment of Cambodians with innovative solutions to achieve a sustainable livelihood and environment. LLC is attempting to improve its internal management and operation framework and good governance practices with support of good and updated internal policies that could respond to the needs of international donors and funding and compliances. Guided by our strategic plan, we are trying to elevate organisational capacity to be able to reach out to more funding opportunities in the future. One of the key strategic actions to take is to ensure that LLC operation is complied to all relevant policies and safeguarding requirements. Early 2024, LLC has successfully reviewed a couple policies, including child protection policy, HR policy, and Finance Management policies, while few other policies were drafted through volunteering support by Australian Volunteers Program. We are attempting to continue the work.

Allowance

AUD$ 79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
