  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need 3-5 years of work experience in a water laboratory and water resource management, as well as a certificate in water quality testing, laboratory techniques, and/or ISO 17025.
  • As a volunteer, you will work on capacity building staff and improving laboratory protocols and best practice.

About the Partner Organisation

The Tonga Water Board(TWB), based in Tofoa, is the national utility responsible for providing safe and reliable water supply and sanitation services in the kingdom of Tonga. Established to address the growing need for sustainable water management, the TWB plays a critical role in ensuring access to clean water for Tonga's population, particularly in urban and peri-urban areas.

To ensure TWB's vision, that the community are getting clean and safe water to use, this assignment is vital. Capacity building of local staff by a volunteer, particularly around rigorous quality control of ground water testing, is essential for the organisation and the community in general.
