Landscape Architect - Capacity Building

We’re looking for a Landscape Architect  who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Bhutan.

• This assignment seeks to  provide technical support and guide local staff in the planning and design of landscaping projects
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a demonstrated experience in landscape design and planning
• As a volunteer, you will support and guide in the execution and monitoring of existing/new landscape projects

About the Partner Organisation 

The green Bhutan Corporation Limited takes a lead role in plantation, landscape development and greening, recreational park management and watershed development programs in the country by developing new approaches; independently, through joint ventures or through any other arrangements with domestic and international partners. The proposed volunteer would not only contribute to their ongoing projects but also play a crucial role in capacity-building by training local staff in landscape planning and design, as well as providing guidance and assistance in executing high-quality landscape work in the field. They believe that this would be a valuable opportunity for local staff to gain the necessary skills and expertise to meet the growing demand for landscaping and greening work in the country, and contribute to a positive sustainable development.
