Media and Marketing Officer

We’re looking for a Media and Marketing Officer who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) for 3 months and in-country for 9 months. 

• This assignment seeks to develop a media and marketing plan which aligns with the organisation's strategic plan.
• You will be working alongside the small team within the organisation to develop and implement the media and marketing plan.
• As a volunteer, you will support in building the capacity of the organisation's staff to ensure sustainability of the Twende organisation.

About the Partner Organisation 

Twende is a Social Innovation Centre operating in Arusha, Tanzania which teaches and supports local innovators to solve problems in their communities by designing and developing targeted social innovations. Through this work, Twende aims to provide local communities with technology that is targeted, useful and affordable.

This assignment is crucial for Twende since it aims to measure the organisation's impact, communicate it and plan accordingly for the future. Through this assignment, Twende seeks to document the impact made and use the data to modify their programs and approach, and to learn from the support and skills of the volunteer.
