  • You will be working alongside the program manager and in collaboration with other staff of the organisation.

About the Partner Organisation

The Community Research and Development Services (CORDS) organisation, based in Arusha, has the mission to work for holistic socio-economic development and to react to all threats to livelihood security (eg: marginalisation, injustice, oppression, gender inequality, poverty). The organisation envisages a vibrant pastoral society that has a strong voice and a wide range of choices to manage its own development and destiny.

The organisation is keen to ensure that their program and projects are implemented effectively, meeting the intended outcomes based on data-driven insights. As MEL plays a pivotal part in this they are looking to have volunteer assistance in building a robust MEL system that will ensure that going forward they will be able to track performance, the impact of assessments, and ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
