We’re looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Development Mentor who can live and volunteer in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for 6 months.
- This assignment seeks to assist in strengthening CUFA PNG's MEL strategy, including data collection and assessments, and update templates, tools, training materials and resources related to MEL
- To be considered for this role you'll need a bachelor's degree in a related field such as international development or management and demonstrated experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning methodologies, with a strong understanding of data collection,
- Provide support to contribute significantly to the organization's mission of empowering communities and fostering sustainable development in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
About the Partner Organisation:
Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA) is a not-for-profit organisation whose goal is to expand the outreach of financial services and products to people and communities and to support, through funding and technical assistance, emerging credit union movements in developing countries. CUFA supports projects in PNG and Cambodia and receives funding through the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as other international donors including the ADB and UN.
In this assignment, the volunteer will undertake the role of a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Development Mentor at CUFA PNG. The volunteer's primary objective will be to collaborate closely with the Country Manager and the broader PNG team to enhance CUFA PNG's MEL strategy; to train and assist the local team members with data collection and analysis, drafting reports, creating and updating templates.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining First Aid Certificate.
