We’re looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Mentor who can live and volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 12 months. 


  • This assignment seeks to enhance MEL systems and processes by developing and improving MEL plans by EWB MEL framework to ensure effective data management and quality documentation
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information management, statistics, economics, social sciences, engineering, humanities, or related fields. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with two years of qualifying experience may be accepted.
  • You will be working alongside the Country Team, specifically with the MEL person at EWB



About the Partner Organisation 

Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB) is a humanitarian development NGO with a National Office and staff team located in Melbourne. EWB works within Australia and overseas to improve the knowledge and physical resources of people in need via grassroots engineering programs, capacity development, and sector leadership. Our international program spans Cambodia, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment. 

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$3245 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
