About the Partner Organisation
The Institute of Forestry (IOF) was established as Nepal Forestry Institute in 1947 under the Nepal Government, Department of Forests, at Singh Durbar in Kathmandu. The Institute merged with Tribhuvan University in July 1972 under the name “Institute of Forestry”. IOF’s long-term goal is to be a centre of excellence in forestry and natural resource management.
