We’re looking for a National Poverty Alleviation Policy Development Advisor who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Fiji.
- This assignment seeks to support the development of the Fiji’s National Poverty Alleviation Policy with relevant team members
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need an advanced graduate of any of the following related courses: Economics, Public Administration, Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Poverty, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, International Studies, Business Management or Social Policy
- Provide support in consultations with relevant line ministries and stoakeholders, and supporting workshop in report draftings with staff members
About the Partner Organisation
Poverty Monitoring Unit under the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection aims to reduce poverty to 10% by 2036, as per National Development Plan in Fiji.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
- A First Aid Certificate is required for all volunteer assignments
