Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is looking for a Nutrition Program Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Kupang, Indonesia.
- This assignment seeks to provide nutrition expertise to improve community health and address malnutrition, stunting, and diet-related diseases. The volunteer will develop nutrition strategies, protocols, interventions, and oversee the implementation.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a qualifications in nutrition, public health, or related field.
- You will be working closely with JPM staff, health workers, and community leaders to strengthen local capacity, ensure the quality, sustainability, and long-term impact of nutrition initiatives, empowering communities to build resilience against nutrition-related challenges.
About the Partner Organisation
Yayasan Jaringan Peduli Masyarakat (JPM) is a local NGO based in Kupang, NTT; it was established on 16 September 2019 following the closing of the Action Contre la Faim (ACF) operation in Indonesia. The organisation's main projects are in child health, community health, education, agriculture and empowerment of people with disabilities. JPM is implementing projects in Kupang, Timur Tengah Selatan and Timur Tengah Utara districts.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements include a First Aid certificate
