Occupational Therapist - Autism Resource Centre, Jhapa

We’re looking for a Occupational Therapist who can live and volunteer for 8 months in Nepal.

• This assignment seeks to enhance occupational therapy skills of staff, teachers, caregivers, parents and those working with children with autism and strengthen the general capacity of the Autism Resource Centre
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• As a volunteer, you will provide training to caregivers on how to efficiently work with the children with autism to carry out effective therapy service and processes

About the Partner Organisation 

Mahendra Ratna Secondary School (MRSS), established in 1957, is a community based public institution located at Birtamode Municipality, Jhapa Koshi Province, Nepal. It offers educational programs from pre-primary to grade 12. There are 2000 students and 103 teaching and non-teaching staff. Apart from regular academic activities, the school conducts extracurricular activities on regular basis. The school's mission is to provide inclusive and high quality education and training according to the needs and levels of the students.
