We’re looking for an Organisational Development & Strategic Mentor who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Solomon Islands.
- This assignment seeks to strengthen HR strategies and Workforce Planning by aligning HR strategies with organisational goals to improve talent management, employee engagement and workforce productivity
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need formal qualifications in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Business Administration as well as extensive experience in HR strategy, organisational development and change management
- You will be working alongside Diretor of Human Resources and other Humanr Resources staff, to provide advice on structuring teams, roles and workflows to enhance efficiency and adaptability
About the Partner Organisation
Solomon Islands National University (SINU) Human Resources Department is a strategic department within the University’s organizational structure. The HRD provides strategic human resource management guidance and expertise, through policy development and implementation, constructive advice and quality administration services, within the parameters of relevant legislation including: the University's Statutes, the SINU Act, agreements and other SINU policies.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining First Aid Certificate.
