Pilar Indonesia is seeking a Product Marketing and Communication who can volunteer remotely for six months. Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across Indonesia.


About the Partner Organisation: 

PILAR Indonesia is an organisation dedicated to empowering and developing communities, with a focus on the five pillars of development encompassing education, health, economy, socio-cultural, and ecology. Established on January 30, 2018, in Lombok, Indonesia, PILAR Indonesia is firmly committed to fostering

a just and sustainable Indonesia. 


In 2022, Pilar Indonesia and its partner established LOCALIFE, a social travel enterprise that provides authentic experiences of Lombok Island, working together with five tourism villages in Lombok. Localife. id was fully funded by an Impact Fund Grant from the Australian Volunteers Program.


About the Position: 

  • You’ll to Increase Brand Awareness & Strengthen Brand Positioning: focuses on making more people aware of our brand and what it stands for, including making contacts with potential partners; collaborating with influencers or industry leaders to promote our brand and products; Ensuring that your brand holds a clear and favorable position in the minds of your target audience. 
  • You’ll need to Conduct thorough research on the Australian market (and Asian markets), including consumer behaviors, preferences, and trends. Analyze competitors and identify potential target demographics.
  • You’ll be incredibly able to contribute to the local organisation in Indonesia.

About the Australian Volunteers Program  

The Australian Volunteers Program is an Australian government-funded initiative. We support partner organisations across the Pacific, Asia, and Africa to achieve locally led change.

Allowance

Allowance figure is per month, allowance figures are $131 (full-time), $79 (part-time)

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
