Sales and Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Specialist who can live and volunteer for 12 months in Port Moresby, National Capital District, Papua New Guinea. 

• This assignment seeks to enhance the skills and knowledge of the young and relatively inexperienced team in data collection, analysis, and strategic planning to enable them to make informed decisions and execute effective marketing initiatives.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• You will be working alongside the Business Development team

This assignment is crucial for Solar Solutions Limited PNG to build the capacity of its young and relatively inexperienced Business Development team. The volunteer will play a vital role in enabling the team to develop and apply tools for data collection, analysis, and strategic planning under the guidance of an experienced Sales & Marketing Analyst. These tools and processes will empower the team to structure and execute effective marketing initiatives, strengthening the company’s ability to sustain growth in a competitive renewable energy market.

The volunteer will focus on enhancing the team’s proficiency in data analytics, which is a critical skill for driving informed decision making and developing actionable sales and marketing strategies. Currently, the specialized skills and experiences required to mentor the team are not readily available in-country, making this placement essential for bridging the gap.
