UN Global Pulse is looking for a Sea Level Rise Project Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- This assignment seeks to support local staff in researching, collecting, and analyzing data to strengthen strategic decision-making in the 'Addressing Sea Level Rise in the Asia Pacific' project. The mentor will focus on building staff capacity in data analysis, interpretation, and application for policy and program planning.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in either Natural Science, Geography, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics. Experience in the Sea Level Rise project or related field is a plus.
- You will also be working alongside Communication and MEL officers to support the documentation of project activities as a means to monitor and communicate results, deepen stakeholder knowledge and buy-in to the project, and facilitate resource mobilization for the project.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements include a First Aid certificate
