We’re looking for a Waste Carbon & Reduction Mentor who can volunteer remotely (from home) for 5 months.

About the Partner Organisation:

Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) is a Vietnamese science and technology organization under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (Vusta). GreenHub was legally established on March 15, 2016; by Vietnamese experts with significant CSO experience in biodiversity conservation, community development, capacity building, and networking projects. While addressing the potential future impacts of climate change remains a top priority on Vietnam's environmental agenda, the country is already grappling with a serious solid waste crisis that is causing devastating effects. The proposed volunteer assignment will significantly enhance GreenHub’s pioneering waste management efforts and contribute to carbon reduction. This includes engaging the community through volunteer activities. Additionally, the volunteer will help fill a gap in international technical expertise and experience that GreenHub currently faces.

 About the Position:

  • You’ll be strengthening the fund-raising capacity of staff through developing and revising proposals and relevant reports regarding environment and sustainable development issues.
  • You’ll need demonstrated experience of working in environmental issues, sustainable development and community development for NGOs
  • Your contribution will help implement these essential funded projects.
