The Australian Volunteers Program is deeply committed to upholding the rights of children. A responsibility we share with our staff, our partners, and our volunteers.
All children have the right to be protected from physical, sexual and emotional abuse and exploitation. All children have the right for their opinion and their voices to be heard. These, and other rights, are enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
